This track was suggested to DDOA by its producer Chris Conover, and his description of it totally caught my eye:

As a girl, it’s probably a little self-sexist of me to say I don’t usually prefer female singer-songwriter types, but there are occasions where I can really enjoy a smooth crooning female vocalist accompanied by a summer-appropriate acoustic guitar (see: Tristan Prettyman). This song happens to be one of those exceptions to my listening routine.
So, kick back, throw on your Wayfarers, sip some lemonade (preferably spiked with vodka or a southern favorite, Firefly - sweet tea vodka), and bring on summer… with this song… which you can download for free :)
